Monel 400 is a nickel-copper alloy that is popular for high-performance applications. Monel 400 exhibits excellent acid and alkaline resistance, high strength, good ductility, and good thermal conductivity, and is hardened by cold-working. It can be used in application temperatures ranging from subzero to 1,000°F (538°C).
Alloy 800 series (Incoloy 800, 800H and 800HT) are nickel-iron-chromium superalloys that offer high temperature strength and resistance to oxidation, carburization and other types of high-temperature corrosion.
Incoloy 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum and copper. This nickel steel alloy’s chemical composition is designed to provide exceptional resistance to many corrosive environments. It is similar to alloy 800 but has improved resistance to aqueous corrosion. It has excellent resistance to both reducing and oxidizing acids, to stress-corrosion cracking, and to localized attack such as pitting and crevice corrosion. Alloy 825 is especially resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acids.

Alloy 800 (UNS N08800), Alloy 800H (UNS N08810) and Alloy 800HT (UNS N08811) have the same content of Nickel, Chromium and iron, what makes the difference is the combined titanium and aluminum levels (0.85 to 1.2%) to ensure optimum high temperature properties.
Hastelloy B-3 is a nickel-molybdenum alloy with excellent resistance to hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures. It also withstands sulfuric, acetic, formic and phosphoric acids, and other nonoxidizing media.
C-22 is very ductile and good for welding. It is resistant to pitting and crevice/crack corrosion, and can withstand sea water, chlorine, and acidic chlorine environments.
Hastelloy C-276 alloy is a solid solution strengthened nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with a small amount of tungsten. Like other nickel alloys, it is ductile, easy to form and weld, and possesses exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chloride-bearing solutions.

Inconel 625 is a corrosion and oxidation resistant nickel alloy that is used both for its high strength and outstanding aqueous corrosion resistance. Its outstanding strength and toughness is due to the addition of niobium which acts with the molybdenum to stiffen the alloy’s matrix. Alloy 625 has excellent fatigue strength and stress-corrosion cracking resistance to chloride ions. This nickel alloy has excellent weldability and is frequently used to weld AL-6XN. This alloy resists a wide range of severely corrosive environments and is especially resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion.
Inconel 600 alloy is a nickel-chromium-iron-based solid solution strengthened alloy. It has good high temperature corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, excellent cold and hot processing and welding properties, and has satisfactory thermal strength and high plasticity below 700°C.
